The Gili are actually a small island situated on the northwest coast of Lombok, but as it is possible to get there easily from Bali, they have become a common destination for those traveling to the island of the gods.
Despite being almost "glued", the three islands (Trawangan, Main and Air) are quite different in terms of environment.
Gili T is a more festive and late night island; the Main is precisely the other way around, being more suitable for romantic couples and families; And Air, my favorite, is a little bit the middle ground you get the other two.
The colour of the water, the snorkeling and the diving are excellent, there are no cars or motorcycles and the sunset is phenomenal!
